Position:Branch Manager

Locations: Mbale (1), Kisumu (1), Eldoret (1)  

Purpose of the Job:

As a Branch Manager, you'll drive business development, operations, compliance, and staff engagement. Your focus will be on business acquisition, aligning with the bank's strategy to enhance profitability.

Reports to:Head of Branches  

Job Description:

- Implement a business development strategy for liabilities and assets growth.

- Formulate and execute branch business plans, forecasts, and budgets.

- Support marketing initiatives and provide feedback on product performance.

- Cross-sell and upsell new business partnerships to increase income streams.

- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.

- Develop the branch business strategy in line with corporate goals.

- Oversee customer service delivery to maximize acquisition and retention.

- Monitor and manage Operation and Business Risks for profitability.

- Maintain security of staff and assets at the branch.

- Provide leadership, direction, and pace to the branch team.

- Build and maintain a high-performance culture.

- Identify knowledge gaps and recommend training initiatives.

- Act as a liaison between the branch and other departments/units.

- Ensure implementation and compliance with policies and procedures.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experiences:

- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.

- 7-8 years of experience.

- Interpersonal, organization, and planning skills.

- Business networking, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

- Integrity and strong leadership qualities.
