A Security Officer at One On One Security is entrusted with safeguarding individuals, organizations, or assets in the event of an incident. Key responsibilities include area monitoring, eviction of trespassers, and thorough reporting of incidents during shifts.

Specific Skills Required:

- Excellent knowledge of security protocols

- Ability to operate security systems and emergency equipment

- Exceptional interpersonal skills

- Advanced verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Problem-solving skills

- Attention to detail

- Appropriate reaction in stressful situations

Responsibilities:

- Regular patrolling and monitoring of the company's premises to ensure safety

- Eviction of trespassers following legal protocols

- Control of entrance and departure procedures

- Surveillance camera monitoring to detect disruptions or unlawful activities

- Detailed reporting of daily activities and incidents to management

- Testing and operation of security systems, including X-ray machines and metal detectors

- Clear and concise use of communication devices such as two-way radios

- Performing CPR or first aid when necessary

Requirements:

- Certificate of Good Conduct

- Below 40 years

- Medically and physically fit

- Form four leavers certificate

- Certificate in first aid (an added advantage)
