Position: Environment, Health & Safety Trainer
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
The Environment, Health & Safety Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with EHS laws, regulations, best practices, and internal procedures across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
1. Assessing training needs and developing comprehensive training plans and materials for the entire organization.
2. Incorporating feedback received during HSE training into the operational manual.
3. Providing coaching and reinforcement of safety policies and procedures in collaboration with EHS Team Members throughout the Tatu City project.
4. Conducting safety audits and inspections, preparing reports of findings and recommendations, and ensuring follow-up measures are implemented.
5. Creating presentations, planning, coordinating, and moderating training sessions.
6. Promoting EHS values and safety behaviors in compliance with local and state regulations.
7. Developing and delivering training programs to construction site workers, supervisors, and staff to foster a safe working environment.
8. Ensuring that all workers on the Tatu City Project follow safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards.
9. Identifying potential hazards on Tatu City construction sites and implementing measures to mitigate risks.
10. Investigating on-site accidents or incidents and providing recommendations to prevent recurrence on the Tatu City Project.
11. Performing any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Hard Skills and Experience:
1. Qualified trainer or NITA-approved trainer.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience as a busy construction site trainer.
3. Degree holder in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
4. NEBOSH certificate or equivalent (minimum requirement).
5. Passion for HSE.
