What the Fellowship Offers:
Selected experts, known as fellows, will participate in a year-long program where they will gain exclusive access to academic research opportunities, attend networking events, and engage in annual conferences. The primary focus is to strengthen cybersecurity measures and strategies across Commonwealth countries in Africa.
Who’s Eligible:
Citizens of Commonwealth countries in Africa between the ages of 21 and 65 are eligible to apply if they possess a minimum of five years of work experience in cybersecurity fields such as law, policymaking, telecommunications, academia, or related sectors.

To apply, candidates must submit the following documents to cyber@commonwealth.int by 23:59 GMT on December 10, 2023:
- Resume
- Cover letter
- Letter of support from their respective organization
The program is supported by the United Kingdom’s International Development Office and aligns with the Commonwealth Cyber Declaration, a framework established by Commonwealth nations in 2018 to ensure a safe and prosperous cyberspace for 2.5 billion Commonwealth citizens.
