The Nyandarua County Public Service Board invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of County Solicitor (Job Group ‘S’). Here are the key details:

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Principal assistant to the County Attorney.

- Organize, coordinate, and manage administrative and legal functions.

- Conduct, assign, and supervise cases in liaison with the County Attorney.

- Formulate and implement development strategies for County Government legal services.

- Draft and publish legislative proposals for the County Government.

- Undertake legal research and provide advisory briefs.

- Represent the County Government in legal proceedings.

- Manage external counsel performance.

- Perform duties of the Accounting Officer in the County Attorney's office.

- Coordinate and supervise training and development of staff.

- Ensure compliance with principles of good governance, human rights, transparency, accountability, ethics, and integrity.

Requirements for Appointment:

- Kenyan Citizen.

- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.

- Advocate of the High Court of Kenya for at least 5 years.

- Current practicing certificate.

- Chapter Six of the Constitution compliance.

- Certificate in Senior Management Course (Kenya School of Government).

- Master's in Law (added advantage).
