About the Award
The University of Glasgow African & Caribbean Excellence Award is designed to support high-achieving students from Africa and the Caribbean who aspire to become Future World Changers. If you wish to pursue a Masters-level study to further develop your knowledge and skills, with the aim of positively contributing to your community in the future, this scholarship is for you.
Eligibility
- Open to applicants from Africa & the Caribbean
- Applicable to all on-campus Masters programs
- Academic excellence, equivalent to a UK 1st Class Honours
- Offer of a place for a postgraduate taught one-year Masters program for the September 2024 intake (offer not required to apply but needed for consideration)
- International fee status
- Domiciled in Africa
- Demonstrated career and development plan supported by Masters-level study
- Proof of meeting UKVI maintenance/living costs by June 30, 2024 (required only if offered the scholarship following a successful interview)
