Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure strict adherence to all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.

- Conduct performance and operation reviews to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.

- Supervise staff by delegating responsibilities, providing directions, and ensuring restaurant objectives are met.

- Conduct staff training, monitor compliance in safety, sanitation, and food hygiene.

- Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, garnishing, and food presentation.

- Coordinate between front and back offices to ensure proper service delivery.

- Assist in menu implementation and improvement based on guest feedback.

- Identify kitchenware and equipment needs, place orders, and liaise with vendors.

- Maintain detailed records of daily, weekly, and monthly costs of revenues.

- Liaise with external contractors for takeaway services (Jumia, Glovo, Uber Eats).

- Coordinate daily operations (service, housekeeping, production, purchasing, admin) for efficiency.

- Deliver excellent service and maximize customer satisfaction.

- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.

- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.

- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products.

- Regularly review market prices and research new suppliers.

- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.

- Promote the restaurant brand in the local community.

- Recommend ways to increase customer reach.

- Manage the restaurant’s image and suggest improvements.

- Organize and supervise shifts.

- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.

- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback.

- Implement policies and protocols for future restaurant operations.

- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.

- Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
