Duties:

The Registered Nurse will serve as the post’s nurse with responsibilities that include the medical care of Mission employees and eligible family members. Duties involve medical care under MED approved clinical guidelines, maintenance of medical equipment and supplies, implementation of a vaccination program, administration of health education programs, and medical emergency contingency planning for the Mission.

Qualifications and Evaluations:

1. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of post-qualification work as a professional nurse.

2. Job Knowledge:Critical-thinking skills, understanding of MED’s policies, and knowledge of local and regional medical services.

3. Education :Degree (RN Level) in Nursing or Diploma/Certificate equivalent from an accredited School of Nursing. Must possess and maintain a valid nursing license.

Language Skills: Level III (Good Working Knowledge) in reading/speaking/writing English.

Skills and Abilities:

1. Critical-thinking skills in line with MED’s policies.

2. Knowledge of local and regional medical services.

3. Familiarity with American Nursing Standards of Care.

4. Basic word processing on a computer.
