Key Areas of Accountability:
1. Manage individual case management through BIA & BID development processes in field offices.
2. Conduct community mobilization, training, and collaboration with the AAC unit in respective wards.
3. Identify, register, and monitor child protection and GBV incidents in the host community.
4. Weekly reporting and referral of cases.
5. Monitor child-friendly spaces attendance.
6. Produce timely progress reports on Child Protection activities.
7. Identify and refer vulnerable cases following internal SC criteria and established referral systems.
8. Conduct community mobilization and sensitization activities.
9. Conduct assessments for Unaccompanied Minors (UAMs) and Separated children.
10. Document BIDs and identify possible durable solutions.
11. Respond to cases with protection concerns, including home visits and follow-ups at the ward level.
12. Propose culturally friendly activities for children based on their needs.
13. Provide regular information/feedback to children and families on available services.
14. Establish links and work closely with existing community structures.
15. Conduct regular follow-up visits to monitor rehabilitation and reintegration.
16. Represent SC at the field level with professionalism.
17. Propose appropriate methodologies for dealing with children and women.
18. Assist in interviews with children, providing translation/interpretation services, including Sign Languages.
19. Perform other duties assigned by CP/BID officer and other managers.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Graduate degree in social work/social sciences or equivalent, or Diploma in a relevant discipline with one-year experience.
- Good communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a large protection caseload.
- Good IT skills including Word and database software.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and emergency situations.
- Strong self-starter, able to take initiative and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Positive attitude towards community work and commitment to Save the Children’s Child Protection Policy.
Desirable
- Experience and skills in staff management.
- Strong understanding and experience of the Case management process.
- Experience in designing and facilitating training sessions.
- Experience in working in insecure environments.
- Experience in documenting and presenting BID cases in an interagency panel.
