The Murang’a County Public Service Board is recruiting Youth Polytechnic Instructors for various positions. Here are the details:

Positions:

1.Tiling and Painting: 9 Posts

2.Plumbing:21 Posts

3.Instructors for Hairdressing:20 Posts

4. Electrical Wiring:6 Posts

Terms of Service: One-year contract  

Remuneration:Fixed consolidated salary of Ksh 20,000 per month

Requirements for Appointment:

1. Diploma or Craft Certificate in relevant disciplines.

2. KCSE D Plain and Above.

3. Certificate in Computer from a recognized institution.

  Note: Those with Diploma in Technical Education or Instructor Training Certificate from KTTC will have an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Theoretical and practical instruction in the area of specialization.

- Preparation and maintenance of Schemes of Work, lesson notes, trainee records, teaching & learning materials.

- Conducting trainees’ assessment.

- Ensuring proper care & maintenance of tools and equipment.

- Conducting co-curricular activities & maintaining trainees' discipline.

- Guidance & Counselling of trainees.
