Internship Opportunities at Teachers Service Commission (TSC)

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) invites qualified and motivated Kenyan youths to apply for internship positions in various professional areas. This internship program aligns with the Government Internship Policy and aims to provide practical work experience to enhance competencies and competitiveness in career development.

Internship Positions:

1. Finance & Accounts:10 positions (12 months)

2. Human Resource Management & Development: 24 positions (10 months)

3. Information Communication Technology (ICT): 16 positions (10 months)

4. Records Management:16 positions (10 months)

5. Statistician:4 positions (10 months)

6. Corporate Affairs: 3 positions (10 months)

7. Supply Chain Management Services:2 positions (10 months)

8. Counsellor:2 positions (10 months)

9. Legal, Labour & Industrial Relations: 1 position (10 months)

Basic Requirements:

- Academic/Professional qualifications specific to each professional area (Refer to the list above).

- Kenyan youth aged between 21 and 35 years.

- Completed two years or more after graduation from an accredited institution.

- Unemployed graduate degree and diploma holders who have not previously undertaken internships in the public sector.

- Certificate of Good Conduct at the time of engagement.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Team player

Internship Duration:

The internship positions will be for a period of between ten (10) and twelve (12) months.

Stipend:

Selected interns will receive a non-remunerative stipend of twenty-five thousand (Kshs. 25,000) per month.

Insurance Cover:

Interns are required to have a valid personal accident insurance to cover personal risks during the internship period.

Medical Insurance Cover:

Interns must have a valid personal medical insurance cover for the duration of the internship.

Workstation:

Successful applicants may be deployed either to the TSC Headquarters or County offices.

Candidates meeting the requirements should submit their applications by 11th December 2023.
